First of all, I wish you all a very prosperous 2010. I hope you all had nice Christmas holidays. I myself spent Christmas wandering around a snow-covered Prague. My husband and I had planned the start of our trip exactly on the day that entire Europe snowed up and virtually no traffic was possible.
There we stood, at a gas station on a German motorway, out of antifreeze to clean the windows of the car, and of course one big melting mess on the road. 'No madam, we have completely run out of antifreeze!' And that appeared to be the case for the entire motorway. Filling up with ordinary water only increased the problem, as this just made the spray nozzles also freeze over. As a magician, what do you do in such a case?
I want to be able to see through the front window when I am driving on the motorway, time for magic!
At the gas station I bought a bottle of cheep gin. No, not for me, and not for my husband either, but for the car :-). I gave it a stiff drink, while chanting an antifreeze spell and pouring out the gin into the water tank. The combination of Gods, angels and alcohol worked the miracle. From that moment on we were two of the few people on the road who could actually look through their front window.
Prague is a wonderful city and has a traditional magical history - it is a city where famous alchemists and kabbalists used to live. There is even a 'golden street' where the alchemists used to run their ventures. I greatly enjoyed visiting this historical city.
